Offerings range from Lamb Rump and Swordfish Nicoise through to Lentil and carrot burgers. What I'm particularly pleased to see is there is also a Vegan menu. The Old White Hart, set in a beautiful Limestone Village a short drive from Rutland Water. A traditional pub offering superb dining, wine and real ales. Food served throughout the week. DF++ - The Crown is a 17th Century Coaching Inn on the thriving independent high street of Uppingham serving fantastic fresh, seasonal food along with a great range of real ales and premium drinks, and local produce. The Inn dates back to 1739, when two separate dwellings were altered to make the one building as you see today, although parts of the original dwellings date back to pre 1530. Canine friends warmly welcomed.
